Injections around the lips elevated the mouth corners. Injections into the lips increased their fullness. It is important that lip injections add volume and vertical height without producing lips that protrude out from the face. Dr. Westreich uses a zonal method for lip augmentation, which creates full lips that look natural.

Mrs. A. had lip asymmetrical and thin lip and nasolabial folds which were bothering her. A combination treatment using restylane and juviderm was designed and 2 mL of filler was used. The left tip received edge defining, volume and shape injections on the upper and volume and shape injections on the lower. The right lip received volume injections only for both the upper and lower lip. The center was treated symmetrically on the top and bottom lip. The right commissure was supported and elevated to promote horizontal symmetry. 1 mL of restylane was used for the lip. Results are shown at 2 weeks. 1mL of Juvderm was used in the nasolabial folds.
