Full Case Details:
A SMAS facelift is the traditional method for performing a facelift. In this approach, the deep muscle layer is tightened in front of the ear to lift the facial tissues before skin excision is performed. The necklift was done in a subplatysmal plane and fat was removed prior to muscle tightening. This method works well for neck improvement and overall improvement, but is not the preferred method for jowling.
