A direct neck lift can be done in women in a very limited fashion. All incisions must be confined to the submentum and not the neck, so they are well hidden from view. Due to this, the degree of skin excision is limited and contouring outcome will be reduced. Now, with the advent of Facetite, our office would generally recommend that procedure for female patients with necks similar to this patient.
